Teenage Acne: Cysts

Teenage acne cysts are different than comedones as they are generally painful and infected due to an overgrowth of Proprianibacterium acnes, and start beneath the surface as a warm, sore bump. They will progress to a fully formed whitehead, which due to scarring risk, should never be extracted at home. (but Neutrogena Rapid Clear Treatment may be used) In addition to these new cysts, teenagers often also have the same comedone patterns that appeared when they were younger, so they need two different types of treatment: the first to control the excess oil in the comedone production, and the second to oxygenate the Proprianibacterium acnes that is present in the formation of the cysts. Teenagers are often very active, and sweating profusely can exacerbate their acne condition. In addition, they can be inconsistent with their home care due to age considerations as well as lack of proper skin hygiene education. More on Acne Treatments Bible http://acne-treatments-bible.com/
